Loren Balhorn v časopise Jacobin sa zamýšľa nad výsledkom Die Linke v posledných regionálnych voľbách v dvoch významných spolkových štátoch v Nemecku. Strana Die Linke má síce nové vedenie (písali sme o tom tu), ale potrebovala by nájsť svoje korene v pracujúcej triede.

Strana Die Linke od svojho vzniku (1990, 280 tisíc členov) čelí postupnému poklesu členstva (posledné desaťročie okolo 60 tisíc) aj poklesu politického významu. Minulý víkend sa konali voľby v spolkových štátoch Porýnie-Falcko a Bádensko-Würtembersko. V obidvoch Die Linke dosiahli výsledok okrajovej strany (2,5 %, resp. 3,6 %) bez výrazného vplyvu na politiku krajiny. Loren Balhorn komentuje, že síce strana má nové vedenie, ale nutne potrebuje novú stratégiu. Vo svojich začiatkoch mala strana silnú východonemeckú identitu, tá sa však s vymieraním pôvodných „Ossis“ vytráca a rétorika strany už nie je rovnocennou protiváhou k AfD. Vplyv strany sa postupne vytráca aj z odborov a strana sa nebadane posúva k mladým mestským progresívcom, teda doprava.

Posun k progresívnemu liberalizmu

Nové vedenie strany Die Linke je síce mladšie ako kedykoľvek predtým, ale svoje politické kariéry začínali ako aktivisti na vysokoškolských internátoch. Mnohí z nich z politiky nepoznajú nič iné, len svoju stranu a jej mládežnícku organizáciu. Die Linke lákajú medzi seba mladých ľudí, ale majú taký nedostatok aktívnych členov, že mladí stúpajú po funkciách prirýchlo. Síce vedia ako zorganizovať väčšinu na zjazde strany, ale už nemajú žiadny cit pre život normálnych ľudí.

Posun smerom k mestskej strednej triede nie je typický len pre Die Linke. Ľavičiari sa vykorenili zo svojej historickej základne v pracujúcej triede. Bol to desaťročia trvajúci proces, ktorý nebol až tak spôsobený kultúrnym estetickým posunom a zmenami celkovej politiky, ale relatívnym úbytkom podielu priemyslu v prospech služieb a rastom podielu zamestnancov, ktorí sú „bielymi goliermi“. Tento proces sa po druhej svetovej vojne urýchlil fragmentáciou tradičného robotníckeho prostredia a vyprázdňovaním komunít, ktoré boli tradičnou oporou ľavice. Keď sa začiatkom 90-tych rokov SPD začala obracať k neoliberalizmu, tento proces už bol zavŕšený. Erózia tradičnej pracujúcej triedy znamená, že politika je dnes väčšinou záležitosťou strednej a vyššej triedy. Síce to vždy platilo pre väčšinu politických síl, ale ľavica bola výnimkou. Hlavne v Nemecku bývala schopná vnímať záujmy pracujúcej triedy a organizovať ju do mocných a akcieschopných blokov, ktoré dokázali svoje záujmy presadzovať. Minimálne to platilo do roku 1933.

Mladí straníci sú odtrhnutí od pracujúcej triedy

Historicky v stranách pracujúcej triedy boli vždy mladí intelektuáli spätí s proletárskou základňou. Tá ich aj politicky vychovávala. Prirodzene, toto už dnes neplatí. V politickej predstavivosti mladej straníckej generácie sú pracujúci len ako ďalšia znevýhodnená skupina, ako jedna z mnohých. V ich rétorike sa občas môžu vyskytnúť narážky na pracujúcu triedu, ale nemá to hlbší subjektívny význam. Ako by aj mohlo? Veď socialistické hnutie pracujúcich poznajú len z dejepisu, ak vôbec.

Die Linke majú často problém rozlišovať medzi morálnymi princípmi a strategickými prioritami. Presadzujú prístup, podľa ktorého majú všetky problémy približne rovnakú dôležitosť. Chápu funkciu modernej socialistickej strany ako „hnutie hnutí“, tak sa aj strana sama prezentuje. Ale čo konkrétne to má znamenať? Aké si za tým predstavujú strategické páky, ktoré by im jedného dňa, keď snáď prevezmú moc, mali pomôcť zmeniť spoločnosť?

Túto lekciu sa na vlastnej koži musela naučiť aj grécka ľavicová strana Syriza, ktorá mala podobnú štruktúru ako Die Linke. Po prevzatí moci v roku 2015 musela strana prehltnúť horkú pilulku vytriezvenia a frustrácie z chovania európskych veriteľov Grécka. Po zostavení vlády Syriza zistila, že ťažko dokáže niečo viac ako organizovať svojich stúpencov na demonštráciách. Pred tlakom európskych inštitúcií sa ukázala bezmocná a kapitulovala na všetkých frontoch. Syriza je stále druhá najväčšia politická sila v Grécku, ale táto „strana hnutí“ je teraz bližšie k neoliberálnej sociálno-demokratickej strane, ktorej miesto zaujala. Hnutia, ktoré ju vyniesli k moci, sa ešte nespamätali z porážky.

Iný príklad, Jeremy Corbyn, nemal nikdy to šťastie ochutnať politickú moc, ale tiež by sa ocitol v podobnej situácii. Hoci mal silnú podporu odborov, jeho hlavnou masou podporovateľov boli mladí nadšenci, ktorí si vylámali zuby v študentských protestoch 2010. Ich úmysly boli bezpochyby čestné, ale chýbala im užšia spätosť s britskou pracujúcou komunitou a inštitúciami labouristického hnutia, takže súčasne s porážkou Corbyna vyvanul aj ich radikalizmus a strana ostala demoralizovaná a bezradná.

Musí vzniknúť silná masová socialistická strana

Die Linke bude v dlhodobom horizonte schopná splniť svoju úlohu len vtedy, ak sa zmení na masovú stranu pracujúcich a využije svoje korene v stále ešte silnom hnutí ľudí práce. Najdôležitejšie na tom je, že by jej to umožnilo protirečiť silným kapitalistickým záujmom. Znamenalo by to viesť kampane kvôli všeobecne významným témam ako bývanie, doprava, mzdy. Začali by sa tým síce vzďaľovať od strán, ktoré podporujú establishment, ale ukázali by, že pre pracujúcich môžu aj niečo konkrétneho dosiahnuť, ako napríklad strop nájomného v Berlíne. Znamenalo by to aj osvojiť si agresívnu, ale serióznu rétoriku, v ktorej roky excelovala Wagenknechtová a De Masi.

To však neznamená, ako tvrdia niektorí kritici, že strana by mala ignorovať populárne otázky ako sexizmus, rasizmus a iné formy zneužívania len preto, aby sa prezentovala ako strana pracujúcich. Historické strany pracujúcich vždy bojovali za práva žien a menšín a boli na čele týchto hnutí. Ale na rozdiel od dnešných ľavicových strán mohli vierohodne argumentovať, že univerzálna emancipácia sa dosiahne až nastolením socialistického zriadenia a cesta k socializmu nutne vedie cez vybudovanie silného hnutia pracujúcich a silnej socialistickej strany.
Dnes žiadne také hnutie ani strana neexistuje. Ale tie neexistovali ani vtedy, keď socialistické hnutie vznikalo.
Je nevyhnutné vytvoriť takú stranu.

    Naopak – ľavica má slúžiť väčšine ! Témy práce, pracovných podmienok, bývania, vzdelania sa týkajú tejto väčšiny. Až sa dosiahne taká spoločnosť, ktorá tieto základné životné podmienky bude zabezpečovať v prospech väčšiny, až potom môžu prísť na rad menšiny…

    Problém je, že ľavicové strany zakladajú, či vedú ( zväčša mladí ) mestskí vzdelaní ľavičiari, s pomerne dobrou životnou úrovňou, celkom nechápajúci život, potreby a ľudí „vidieka“. A naopak.

    Zdá sa, že ľavica nemôže osloviť všetkých ( „proletárov“ ). Takéto snahy sú neúčinné. Ďalej sa pohne len vtedy, keď sa vzdá pokušenia oslovovať aj mestskú ľavicu a bude tvoriť program pre väčšinu. Zatím.
